| The Moment They
Had Been Waiting For Residents started waiting at 10:AM only to be told that his plane trip would be delayed. "He will be here at three exclaimed the TV production manager of American Life TV. The TV crew had been at the shelter since 7:AM interviewig residents, filming the work of DC Central Kitchen and interviewing and filming the Executive Director of CCNV. Finally he arrived walkig around the corner as the crowd went to meet him. He was all smiles and warm greetings. On the women floor he sang to them taking time to give a comforting hug. Some of the women were left in tears...it was their special moment... |
